New Arrivals Vol. 4: Artists Against Youth Homelessness (Mpress)

MPress Records is proud to confirm the details of ‘New Arrivals Volume 4’, a charity compilation CD to benefit The National Network for Youth, whose mission is to champion the needs of runaway, homeless and other disconnected teens. The 21‐song CD, set for June 7th digital and physical release, features a stellar lineup of artists including 2011 Grammy® nominee Dave Eggar, Brooklyn indies The Paper Raincoat, critical favorite Michelle Malone, American Idol® Finalist Caleb Hawley, Verve artist Lucy Woodward and many others. The New Arrivals charity compilation series continues to showcase both established and indie artists. Launched several years ago by MPress Records president Rachael Sage (an acclaimed artpop singer‐songwriter who has also contributed a track to NAV4), each CD has benefited a different charity. With regards to the upcoming Volume 4, Sage comments: “It’s definitely our best lineup yet, it’s a great cause, and we want to do it justice.”MPress Records founder Rachael Sage further explains, “As a touring artist I can’t help but notice that one sad constant wherever we travel is homeless people…Young people are particularly invisible when they’re homeless and in this economic climate that’s not a problem that’s going away.” Sage, MPress Records, The National Network for Youth and all the extraordinary talent on this compilation want to change that. 100% of the net proceeds will benefit The National Network for Youth.
