Tom Glynn - "Living Proof"
"A pop tunesmith at the top of his game" Steve Morse, The Boston Globe

Tom Glynn works his day job as a professional voiceover talent, but his heart is decidedly in his own words. Living Proof is Glynn’s latest releases and a true testament to his passion for well-crafted songs and vocal harmonies. This is unabashed pop music with backbone. There’s an honesty and strength to Glynn’s work that is likely the root of much of his success. The title track of the album was voted “Best Rock Song” by the judges of Our Stage, a site that lets the fans decide who’s best. His songs also see rotation on all the major networks including CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX.

Glynn has earned a reputation among other acclaimed musicians and the Boston music community at large as a songwriter's songwriter. His new album Living Proof is indeed just that. He plays all the instruments on the title track, except for the drums, and produced it as well. The other tracks on Living Proof feature his band performing live in the studio, with a mix of Wurlitzer piano, acoustic guitar, pedal steel, electric guitar, bass, drums, and vocal harmonies. Glynn was also a winner of the first annual John Lennon Songwriting Contest. He was also recently nominated for “Outstanding Songwriter” at the Boston Music Awards.

Glynn has already become a household name in local Boston circles and has been playing New York shows with much higher frequency. He plays the kind of songs that keep people singing along and coming back for more, so as his fan base continues to grow so does the inspiration for his songs. This is a songwriter who has been honing his craft for many years and its shows in his finely tuned, sophisticated pop songs.
